At Risk Teens Outreach | The Deliverance Center

  • At Risk Teen Outreach Program

"At Risk Teens," we have all seen, heard and prephaps know a teen in this category. Over 800 young men from the ages of 15 - 18 years old, completed their court-ordered community service hours at our ministry. Over 21 years, the ministry has had a success rate of 95% completion! This has been a very rewarding, life changing outreach for these teens.

SWM believes this outreach needs to be expanded at this critical time. These young men will have their hearts captured with hope and life skills or find themselves heading to a dark place of crime, gangs, drugs, prison or death.

The implementation of this "At Risk Teens Outreach" named The Deliverance Center, will increase the number of teens who will be able to enroll in this program. The need will be for more building space, more training personnel, educational equipment and supplies. The uniqueness of this outreach is it will have the opportunity to interact daily within the whole organizational framework.

Donations for the Deliverance Center, outreach center for at risk teen boys, can be made by cash, check (preferred) or through paypal. Checks can be made payable to Spring-Woodlands Ministries and mailed to 810 E. Louetta Road, Suite A-E in Spring, Texas 77373. Please note on the check that it is for the Deliverance Center. Our Community Needs You!!!

The food pantry is in full force and generous people in the community are donating in a remarkable way!

Two days ago, I challenged the community for 3000 people to step up and make a one time donation of $12.00. They are doing that. Some considerably more. SWM had a very generous offer of $1,000.00 and challenged others to match that contribution. One business has stepped forward to do that. Mr. Paul Short, Owner of InSPIRE Rock has met that challenge. Many are giving more than $12.00 when they donate and SWM truly appreciates any donation.

Our neighbors, need a meal each day who are not living in a shelter. Will you help SWM?

22nd Annual Toy Drive

22nd Annual Toy Drive

Hurricane Harvey has left many of our community residents dealing with a variety of hardships and challenging situations this holiday season. The devastation left behind by Hurricane Harvey will be an uphill climb for a long time, for many people. While many of us have some sense of normalcy back in our lives, we must embrace the lives of those less fortunate. This holiday season, our beloved community needs will exceed all years past. Especially the struggling families that face the holiday season with children.

We are asking those that can, to consider a few community members in need this holiday season, while you are out doing your holiday shopping. Maybe even consider a community, club or work place toy drive for children of ages from Newborn to 15, to help the ministry reach the community's needs this Christmas.

Please Donate Toys!

Please keep in mind what Hurricane Harvey took away from so many children throughout our community.

Starting December 4, toys for boys and girls of ages, Newborn - 15, can be dropped off at the ministry on the following days.

Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
